In this work I have investigated alternative sculptural ways for the object to open its doors.

Fågelskåp. At first glance, the product looks anonymous, but then it transforms. The inspiration comes from the wings of the bird which I have simplified to two fan-like doors. In this work, craftsmanship and humor have been central, where I question the simplicity of everyday life – such as how to open a door.
Materials: Finnish massiv birch, birch plywood, metal (rusted precision tubes), silk, cotton cord. Not for sale |
